In Egypt in an urgent need to improve enviromental practices and norms, the first step to tackle the problem is to provide adequately trained graduates. This need of formation and training well fitted to the objectives of the Tempus Programme of the European Community.

According to a recent survey, more than 500.000 sites are contaminated by organic pollutants and/or heavy metals in European Union.
